Replacement ARP Custom Age 625+ 3/8" 1.600" Rod Bolt.

Rod bolts should always be replaced during a rebuild due to bolt stretching during initial torqueing and bolt stretching caused by running the engine.

Rod bolts fail more often than Rod failure causing the Rod cap to become loose causing the oil film barrier between the rod bearing and crank pin to fail which causes the rod to fail.

Always replace your rod bolts.
This is for a complete set, for the 6G72 DOHC V6, of ARP Custom Age 625+ rod bolts.
Rod Bolt, purchase (12) if replacing all Rod bolts for 6 rods.

This is a Very common size rod bolt used in most 6G72 DOHC aftermarket forged rods but check your bolts to verify these are the bolts you need as they are not returnable

These are Genuine ARP Custom Age 625+ Rod Bolts purchased directly from ARP, 3/8" x 1.600" UHL

Why upgrade from the ARP2000 rod bolt to the ARP Custom Age 625+ rod bolt?
The ARP2000 rod bolt is only capable of around 175HP per rod, while the ARP Custom Age 625+ rod bolt is capable of 250HP per rod. Holding the rod cap onto the piston rod all comes down to the rod bolt, and it is one of the highest stressed areas in a high horsepower engine. Do not cheap out on rod bolts when you have spent so much money on your high horsepower engine.

This is for a complete set of (12) rod bolts for most 6G72 DOHC aftermarket forged rods including BC and Ninja Performance.
