Mitsubishi OEM 6G72 60K kit DOHC

Do not risk catastrophic engine failure by trying to save a few hundred dollars buying cheap non OEM 60K parts.
The 6G72 DOHC is an interference engine, meaning any timing belt failure will cause the pistons to contact and bend valves. This means a very expensive repair.

Because of this we will ONLY use and or sell Genuine OEM Mitsubishi 60K parts, with the exception of our very well tested and proven, and first 6G72 Solid Tensioner Kit on the market, Ninja Performance Solid Tensioner Kit

Saving a few dollars on a non OEM 60K kit can and does end in having the Water Pump or Hydraulic Tensioner to fail shortly after, costing thousands of dollars in damage to the cylinder heads, bending valves and cracking valve guides not to mention the labor to pull the heads and the machine shop charges to repair all the damage.

The OEM Mitsubishi Timing Belt Idler Pulley is available to add to this kit. It is prone to wear and if not replaced during the 60K service, and it fails, it will cause the timing belt to fail bending valves in the cylinder head. Choose "Add OEM Idler Pulley" in "Available Options" below to add it to this kit making it a complete OEM 60K Kit.

Mitsu Tensioner pulley is the MD140071 Genuine OEM Adjustable Tensioner pulley
NP Solid pulley is the Ninja Performance Non Adjustable Pulley found in the NP Solid Timing Kit to be used ONLY with the NP Solid Tensioner.

Don't be fooled by knock off "Genuine" MD319040 OEM Hydraulic Tensioners being sold at a price well below the $120 Retail price, or even some being sold at full retail but still obviously NOT a Genuine OEM part. We ONLY sell the Genuine OEM part. We have seen too many failures over the last 19 years to trust non OEM 60K parts. This Includes the Genuine OEM Water pump. The Cheap non OEM Water Pumps, which are not even complete assembled water pumps, they are the front half you have to then assemble yourself, have a high failure rate, the pulley falls off, causing catastrophic failure, bending valves and damaging valve guides.
