We were the first company to develop, produce and sell a Fuel Pump Hotwire kit for the installation of the high power demand new high volume fuel pumps that were hitting the market back in 2001, and thus were the first to bring a 3S specific Hotwire kit to market for the 3S platform back in 2001, and this kit is an updated better version of that original design.

Since that time, we have made in house, and sold, over 700 of these Hotwire kits.

Stock wiring is for STOCK CARS. Once you start demanding more out of your car the Fuel Pump's anemic power wire can not deliver. The small gauge stock fuel pump power wire limits the voltage and amperage that gets to the fuel pump. This limits the pumps output/flow.

If the 12 volt fuel pump in your car is supplied with the 14 volts (and whatever amperage it demands) put out by your cars alternator, the fuel pump will produce more fuel volume (it will put out more gallons per hour) and have the ability to keep up the rising fuel rail pressure demanded by turbo cars.

Supply that same fuel pump with 10 volts and limit the pump's amperage supply, which is what the small gauge stock fuel pump power wiring will do, and that same fuel pump will deliver less fuel volume and lower rail pressure.
