Ninja Performance Solid Timing Belt Tensioner Kit 6G72 DOHC

This is the Solid Tensioner Kit Ninja Performance uses on their 914AWHP 881AWTQ shop car seen here.

This Solid Timing Kit, along with a HiRev valve spring kit, allows the 3.0L 6G72 in the Ninja Performance Daily Driver Shop Car to easily rev to 9100RPM which is required to stay in 3rd gear crossing the 1/4 mile finish line at 144mph.

The Original 6G72 Solid Timing Kit
Don't Accept copies when you can have the original. Ninja Performance was the first to research, CAD design, manufacture and test these parts and create a complete bolt on kit. CAD designed in house as we have done with many other Ninja Performance parts. Track tested for years at the drag strip and real world tested on our cars and customer's cars.

No longer worry about a failed hydraulic timing tensioner. No more worries about high RPM timing belt flutter. No more worries about the tensioner pulley becoming loose.

We run this kit with the Gate Racing timing belt on our shop car and run to 9200RPM at the drag strip. Never an issue and never the worry about belt defelction/harmonics or the hydro tensioner giving up at high RPM.

This kit includes everything you need to change the hydraulic tensioner system on your 6G72 DOHC (turbo or non turbo) to a solid manual setup.

Includes:
*Ninja Performance Solid Timing Belt Tensioner with upgraded Grade 8 Zinc Yellow Chromate plated (corrosion resistant in wet environments) adjusting bolt.
*Serated Lock down nut that keeps the adjusting bolt locked into position even at 9200RPM
*Ninja Performance Solid Timing Belt Tensioner Pulley (replaces the timing belt tensioner pulley that can become loose causing the belt to slip with a Solid Non Adjustable Pulley)

*Timing Belt of your choice - Choose Below
*** We Highly recommend using the Gates Racing Timing Belt with this solid kit. This is due to the possibility of the OEM stretching over time. Unlike the stock Hydraulic setup, this solid kit is set it and forget it and does not adjust on the fly. The gates Racing Timing Belt will not stretch over time. If used with the OEM belt we would recommend checking the tension monthly.***

We recommend using either of two tightening methods:
*Using the 90 degree belt twist method - tighten so belt can only twist 90 degrees at it's longest run.
*Using the belt deflection method - tighten until the belt deflection between the front exhaust cam sprocket and the tensioner pulley (or Solid Pulley if installing the full Ninja Performance Solid Kit) is 1/4".
